The JudgmentThe creative brings sublime success, furthered by perseverance. Everything you undertake from this primal power succeeds, on one condition: that you hold fast to what is right. Success here is not a matter of luck but of staying power; the source does not need to be made, only tapped.
The ImageHeaven's movement is full of strength: so the noble one makes himself strong and tireless. Heaven never rests, yet is never in a hurry. Take over that rhythm: work on your strength every day, without haste and without pauses that turn into standstill.
InterpretationPure creative power: six yang lines, energy without a single weak spot. You stand at the beginning of something that truly comes from you: a business of your own, a book, a love you dare to speak aloud, a phase of life that is yours to shape. The power is there; the question is whether you can carry it without arrogance and sustain it without slackening. The Image gives the answer: heaven moves without ceasing and without haste, and exactly that rhythm is asked of you. Bind your power to something larger than your ego, give it a daily form (the fixed hour, the fixed habit), and think in years. The danger is not failure but shortness of breath: starting grand and ending small.

Nine at the beginning
The dragon lies hidden:
do not act. The power is already there, but it still rests beneath the surface, like a dragon deep in the water. No one sees you yet, and that is exactly right: use this time to practice, to learn, and to let your plans ripen without the pressure of an audience. Seeking recognition in this phase wastes strength you will need later. In practical terms: launch nothing yet, say little about it, and keep building in silence until the time calls you.
Nine in the second place
The dragon appears in the field:
it is worthwhile to see the great man. You are becoming visible; people begin to notice what you can do, even before you hold any position. Influence works here through seriousness and reliability, not through titles. Seek out, in this phase, the people you can learn from: a good teacher or a good example accelerates everything. Show yourself in your work, not in what you claim about yourself.
Nine in the third place
Creatively at work all day, and toward evening still full of cares:
danger, but no blame. This is the transition zone where you are beginning to become something and responsibility grows faster than certainty. Full days and restless evenings belong to this phase; they are not a sign that you are doing it wrong. Stay careful, guard your sleep and your judgment, and do not outrun yourself. The danger here is not the busyness itself but being swept along by it: guard your care and your integrity on the way up, and you remain without blame.
Nine in the fourth place
A hesitant leap above the depths:
no blame. A moment of choice opens up: rising toward a visible role in the world, or returning to the depths of your own work and development. Both paths are good; there is no wrong answer here, only an untrue one. Choose according to your own nature, not according to what impresses or what others expect. A choice against your nature costs you years; a true choice later gives you both worlds back.

The dragon flies in the heavens:
it is worthwhile to see the great man. This is the high point: your work carries, your influence works by itself, and the right people know how to find you. Such phases are rare and want to be used. Connect with people of stature, set the great things in motion, and be generous with what you have become. Flying high means being seen; make sure that what people see matches what you are.
Nine at the top
The overweening dragon will know remorse.
Above the peak lies only the fall: push still higher and lose touch with people and with reality, and you will soon stand alone. Know when it is enough. Being able to let something go at its height, to hand over a role, not to milk a success dry: that is the last and hardest form of strength. Remorse here comes not from failing but from not being able to stop.
All lines are nines
A flight of dragons without heads appears:
good fortune. All six lines change at once: the sign stands under maximum tension and turns into its opposite, the Receptive. Strength everywhere, lordliness nowhere, and precisely that brings good fortune. Strength that does not want to be worshipped but stays mild and serviceable is the highest that strength can reach: a family, a team or a work in which no one needs to play the boss because everyone carries. Rare is this cast, and rare is that image; pursue it without claiming it.
